Installation

Install from Chrome Web Store

Open the AltTextLab page on Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome.

Open extension options

Click the AltTextLab icon in your browser toolbar and go to Options.

Enter your API key

Paste your API key (from dashboard settings) and click Save.

Usage

Right-click any image on a public web page and select AltTextLab: Get alt text. The result appears in a popup within seconds with a one-click copy button.

Requirements & limitations

Images must be publicly accessible. Password-protected or login-gated images cannot be processed. For error messages, see Troubleshooting.
