Installation

Install from Microsoft Edge Add-ons

Open the AltTextLab page on Microsoft Edge Add-ons and click Get.

Open extension options

Click the AltTextLab icon in the browser toolbar (or find it via the puzzle icon) and go to Options.

Enter your API key

Paste your API key (from dashboard settings) and click Save.

Usage

Right-click any image on a public web page and select AltTextLab: Get alt text. The result appears in a popup within seconds with a one-click copy button.

Requirements & limitations

Images must be publicly accessible. Password-protected or login-gated images cannot be processed. For error messages, see Troubleshooting.
