Installation

Install from Mozilla Add-ons

Open the AltTextLab page on Mozilla Add-ons and click Add to Firefox → Add Extension.

Open add-on options

Click the puzzle icon in the toolbar, select AltTextLab, then Options.

Enter your API key

Paste your API key (from dashboard settings) and click Save.

Language	Output language for generated alt text
AI writing style	`neutral`, `descriptive`, or `minimal` — see Writing styles
Keyword extraction	Extract page keywords to improve relevance
Auto-copy	Copy result to clipboard automatically

Images must be publicly accessible. Login-protected or blocked images may fail to generate. For error messages, see Troubleshooting.
